Tthere is still time for you to go on the Medical Mission trip to Fortaleza, Brazil that takes place May 30-June 7.  We need laypeople to work in the eye clinic, participate in evangelism, and assist the medical teams.  We also need medical professionals in any specialization, and are particularly looking for a dentist who would be willing to come.  If you are interested in being a part of this exciting opportunity contact Cliff Lusk at clusk@tallowood.org.

After taking a month to focus exclusively on our World Missions Offering, Worship In Action will be returning with a new emphasis on January 19-20.  Don’t miss another great opportunity to be a part of God’s kingdom-work.  Together we will continue to express our worship in our obedience to Christ, specifically His call to reach the world with the good news of His saving grace.

PRAISE THE LORD!

We are so grateful about the ways that the Lord has moved among us over these past three months, resulting in a great outpouring of love for him and for the people of Honduras.

We wanted to send 50 pastors to our November ministry training conference–and God provided through you enough for 51 pastors!

We wanted to pay for 50 students to attend Koinonia Baptist School–and God provided through you enough for 57 students!

And though we didn’t have a particular goal in mind for the collection of clothes for the men’s drug rehab center in Tegucigalpa, we never expected the mountain of generosity that you gave.  You gave a LOT of clothes.  In fact, you have to see it to believe it . . .

Take some time right now to thank God for this display of grace towards us, that we would learn to live and love the way that he does.

And ask him to prepare you for the opportunities ahead. We’re really excited about our next Worship in Action emphasis that will start in October. In his providence, he’s given us something timely and significant to be a part of.
